Now all eyes of the nation are on TwinTowers in Noida. All set for the demolition of these twin towers built by Supertech. Today at exactly 2.30 pm, the ground will collapse within seconds while everyone is watching. As per the orders of the Supreme Court, the authorities have made all arrangements to demolish these buildings. In this background, the police who reached the buildings a little while ago are evacuating thousands of people in the Emerald Court Society who are in these buildings. 

Some interesting facts related to the demolition
1. The authorities prepared for the demolition with the orders of the Supreme Court.. will use 3,700 kg of explosives for the demolition of the buildings. The supervision of the demolition work has started from this morning. 

2. The names of these twin towers are Apex.. Sayon. These are the tallest buildings in the country that are being demolished with explosives. They will fall to the ground in just 9 seconds.

3. The police have taken strict measures by setting up barricades around 50 meters from the buildings to prevent anyone from entering that side.

4. Utkarsh Mehta of Edifice Engineering said that he is also a bit nervous about this. They said that they are 100% confident that the blasts will happen as planned. He said that we have been saying for the last six months that there is no need to worry, and we have said the same thing today.

5. Manu Soni’s family was among the families evacuated by the authorities this morning from Emerald Court Society. Speaking on this occasion, Manu Soni said that he was going to his family friends’ house in Silver City Apartment, which is 200 meters away from Twin Towers. They said that they will watch the demolition on TV and have no intention of coming out from the balcony. 

 6. Manu’s family woke up at 4.30 this morning and came out of the society. And only 20 percent people claim to be in the society. They said that they woke up, drank tea, freshened up and left at 7 am. 

7. Early in the morning the animal welfare organizations reached the society and shifted the dogs and other domestic animals there. During the demolition of the buildings, care was taken to keep animals away.

8. The Supreme Court on Friday directed the Supertech Group to prepare a timeline by October to refund the money to the buyers of flats in the Emerald Court Twin Towers. 

9. The Supreme Court had issued orders for the demolition of the buildings in August last year. Those who have already bought flats in it have been ordered to pay the principal along with 12 percent interest. 

10. Traffic was diverted on important routes in the city. Jaypee Hospital and Felix Hospital have been alerted. They are prepared to provide immediate treatment in case of any untoward incident.

ఈ జంట భవనాలు కూలిపోగా ఎగిసిన ధూళి కొన్ని వందల మీటర్ల వరకు వ్యాపించింది. కాగా, ఈ ట్విన్ టవర్స్ చుట్టు పక్కల భవనాల్లోని ప్రజలను అధికారులు ఖాళీ చేయించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

2009లో సూపర్ టెక్ లిమిటెడ్ కంపెనీ ఈ ట్విన్ టవర్స్ ను రెసిడెన్షియల్, కమర్షియల్ ప్రాతిపదికన నిర్మించింది. ఇందుకు గాను రూ.70 కోట్ల వ్యయం అయింది. మూడేళ్లలో ఈ టవర్స్ నిర్మించారు. ఈ జంట టవర్స్ లోని అపెక్స్ టవర్ ఎత్తు 102 మీటర్లు కాగా, ఇందులో 32 అంతస్తులు ఉన్నాయి. సియాన్ టవర్స్ ఎత్తు 95 మీటర్లు. ఈ రెండు టవర్లలో 915 ఫ్లాట్లు, 21 షాపింగ్ కాంప్లెక్స్ లు ఉన్నాయి.

అయితే నిబంధనలను ఉల్లంఘించి ఈ టవర్స్ కట్టారంటూ దాఖలైన పిటిషన్లను విచారించిన సుప్రీంకోర్టు, టవర్స్ ను కూల్చేయాలంటూ గతేడాది తీర్పునిచ్చింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే నేడు నోయిడా ట్విన్ టవర్స్ ను కూల్చివేశారు.

కుతుబ్ మినార్, ఇండియా గేట్ కంటే ఎత్తయిన ఈ భారీ టవర్స్ ను కూల్చివేసేందుకు అధికారులు రూ.20 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేశారు. శిథిలాల తొలగింపునకు మరో రూ.13.5 కోట్లు కాంట్రాక్ట్ కుదుర్చుకున్నారు.
