చతిస్గడ్ రాష్ట్రంలోని నారాయణపూర్ జిల్లా సరిహద్దుల్లోని అబుజ్ మడ్ అటవీ ప్రాంతంలో సోమవారం భద్రతా బలగాలకు, మావోయిస్టులకు ఎదురు కాల్పులు జరిగాయి. అబుజ్ మడ్ అడవిలో భారీ సంఖ్యలో మావోయిస్టులు ఉన్నారని సమాచారం అందుకున్న నారాయణపూర్ ఎస్పీ రాబిన్ సన్ , భద్రతా బలగాలు గాలింపు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని భద్రత దళాలను ఆదేశించారు. ఎస్పీ ఆదేశాల మేరకు భద్రత దళాలు అబూజ్మడ్ దండకారణ్యంలో గాలింపు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. మావోయిస్టులు అలికిడితో ఆగి ఆగి కాల్పులు జరపటం జరిగింది. ఈ కాల్పులలో ఒక అగ్ర నేతతో పాటు, మరో మావోయిస్టు అగ్రనేత మొత్తం ఇద్దరు మృతి చెందినట్లు సమాచారం. కాల్పుల అనంతరం ఘటన స్థలంలో పరిశీలించగా రెండు మావోయిస్టు మృతదేహాలు కనుగొన్నారు. వారి వద్ద ఉన్న ఏకే 47, మరోఇన్సాస్ రైపిల్, బి జి ఎల్ లాంచర్ , భారీ సంఖ్యలో ప్రేలుడు సామాగ్రి, విప్లవ సాహిత్యం, ప్రచార సామాగ్రి, ప్రతి రోజు ఉపయోగించే వస్తువులు భద్రతా దళాలు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. మృతదేహాలను గుర్తించారు. ఒకరు సెంట్రల్ కమిటీకి చెందిన తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం, కరీంనగర్ కు చెందిన కట్టా రామచంద్రారెడ్డి (63) కాగా, మరొకరు, సెంట్రల్ కమిటీ సభ్యులు, ఇతని పై 40 లక్షల రివార్డు కలదని, మరొకరు దండకారణ్య స్పెషల్ జోనల్ కమిటీ నెంబర్ కడారి సత్యనారాయణరెడ్డి(67) ఎలియాస్ గోపన్న, (ఇతనిపై 40 లక్షలు రివార్డ్ ) తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం కరీంనగర్ గా గుర్తించినట్లు భస్తర్ రేంజ్ ఐ జి పి సుందర్ రాజ్ పట్వా తెలిపారు. .
Abhujmad Encounter
Dead bodies of the Maoist cadres recovered in the Abhujmad encounter have been identified as Central Committee Members Raju Dada @ Katta Ramachandra Reddy and Kosa Dada @ Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy, both carrying a reward of ₹40 lakh each in Chhattisgarh state.
One AK-47 rifle, one INSAS rifle, one BGL launcher, a large quantity of explosives, Maoist literature, and other items were recovered from the encounter site.
Superintendent of Police Narayanpur, Shri Robinson, informed that based on intelligence inputs regarding Maoist movement in the Abhujmad region along the Chhattisgarh–Maharashtra interstate border, security forces launched a search operation in the area.
During the operation, intermittent exchange of fire had been taking place between the Maoists and security forces since the morning hours of 22/09/2025.
After the exchange of fire, the bodies of two male Maoist cadres were recovered along with weapons, explosives, and other materials from the spot.
Preliminary identification confirmed them to be Central Committee Members Raju Dada @ Katta Ramachandra Reddy and Kosa Dada @ Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy.

Further details regarding the criminal records and rewards declared on them by other states and agencies are being collected.
Both Central Committee members, Raju Dada and Kosa Dada, were active in the Dandakaranya Special Zonal Committee for over three decades and were masterminds behind numerous violent incidents, leading to the martyrdom of security personnel and loss of innocent civilian lives in the region.
The search of the encounter site led to the recovery of one AK-47 rifle, one INSAS rifle, one BGL launcher, a large cache of explosives, Maoist literature, and daily-use materials.
Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range, Shri Sundarraj P., stated that decisive operations against the banned Maoist outfit have delivered a major setback to the organisation. Despite difficult terrain and adverse weather, the police and security forces in Bastar remain steadfast in their commitment, working in line with the vision of the Government of India, the Government of Chhattisgarh, and the aspirations of the people of Bastar.
IGP Bastar once again appealed to Maoist cadres and their leadership to accept the reality that the Maoist movement is nearing its end. He emphasised that it is high time they realise there is no alternative but to shun violence, return to the mainstream, and avail the protection and benefits of the surrender and rehabilitation policy of the Government.
अभूझमाड़ मुठभेड़
अभूझमाड़ मुठभेड़ में मारे गए माओवादी कैडरों के शवों की पहचान सीपीआई (माओवादी) केंद्रीय समिति के सदस्य राजू दादा @ कट्टा रामचंद्र रेड्डी और कोसा दादा @ कादरी सत्यनारायण रेड्डी के रूप में हुई है। दोनों पर छत्तीसगढ़ राज्य में 40-40 लाख रुपये का इनाम घोषित था।
मुठभेड़ स्थल से एक एके-47 राइफल, एक इंसास राइफल, एक बीजीएल लॉन्चर, भारी मात्रा में विस्फोटक, माओवादी साहित्य एवं अन्य सामग्री बरामद की गई है।
नारायणपुर के पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री रॉबिन्सन ने बताया कि छत्तीसगढ़–महाराष्ट्र अंतर्राज्यीय सीमा क्षेत्र स्थित अभूझमाड़ इलाके में माओवादी गतिविधियों की सूचना पर सुरक्षा बलों ने सर्च ऑपरेशन चलाया।
इस अभियान के दौरान 22/09/2025 की सुबह से माओवादी एवं सुरक्षा बलों के बीच रुक-रुक कर फायरिंग हो रही थी।
मुठभेड़ के उपरांत, मौके से दो पुरुष माओवादी कैडरों के शवों के साथ हथियार, विस्फोटक एवं अन्य सामग्री बरामद की गई।
प्रारंभिक पहचान में पुष्टि हुई कि ये दोनों माओवादी कैडर केंद्रीय समिति के सदस्य राजू दादा @ कट्टा रामचंद्र रेड्डी और कोसा दादा @ कादरी सत्यनारायण रेड्डी हैं।

केंद्रीय समिति के दोनों सदस्य राजू दादा और कोसा दादा पिछले तीन दशकों से दंडकारण्य विशेष क्षेत्रीय समिति में सक्रिय थे और अनेक हिंसक घटनाओं के मास्टरमाइंड रहे हैं, जिनमें कई जवान शहीद हुए और निर्दोष नागरिकों की जानें गईं।
मुठभेड़ स्थल की तलाशी के दौरान एक एके-47 राइफल, एक इंसास राइफल, एक बीजीएल लॉन्चर, भारी मात्रा में विस्फोटक, माओवादी साहित्य एवं दैनिक उपयोग की वस्तुएँ बरामद की गईं।
बस्तर रेंज के पुलिस महानिरीक्षक श्री सुन्दरराज पी. ने कहा कि प्रतिबंधित माओवादी संगठन के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे निर्णायक अभियानों से संगठन को बड़ी चोट पहुँची है। कठिन भौगोलिक परिस्थितियों और प्रतिकूल मौसम के बावजूद बस्तर में तैनात पुलिस और सुरक्षा बल भारत सरकार, छत्तीसगढ़ सरकार तथा बस्तर की जनता की आकांक्षाओं के अनुरूप पूरी निष्ठा और समर्पण के साथ सेवा कर रहे हैं।
पुलिस महानिरीक्षक बस्तर ने एक बार फिर माओवादी कैडरों और उनके नेतृत्व से अपील की कि वे यह स्वीकार करें कि माओवादी आंदोलन अब अपने अंत की ओर है। यह समय है कि वे हिंसा का मार्ग त्यागकर मुख्यधारा में लौटें और सरकार की आत्मसमर्पण एवं पुनर्वास नीति के तहत सुरक्षा और लाभ प्राप्त करें।
